7- Gareth Joules

Gareth looked down at the gitten he had shot, James had stamped on his face, it was just pointless cruelty.

Commander James sneered at him "I said, i wasn't going to make it quicker for him."

Gareth stood up straight and declared with a crack in his voice. "Sorry sir, misfire!".

They walked forward towards the hangar.

"Gareth." declared James.

"That Quiboan, the one carrying the idiot, i want him dead."

"Yessir!" shouted Gareth, he was happy to be away from James, he slunk off into one of the myriad halls.

he heard the sound of tentacles slapping metal.

"Well, that was quick" he thought.

Gareth stood still.

"This isn't right."

"None of this is right." he whispered.

"You shouldn't be doing this" he thought.

He kept walking anyway.

He kicked the door open, laser rifle at the ready.

It was empty.

he took a horrible punch to his hind tentacles, and then another, and then another.

he turned around quickly, and saw his assailant, Lackech, holding a knife.

The wounds hurt more, and more, he saw blood rushing out, he fell to the ground.

"Why are you here." said Lackech.

it hurt too much to speak.

"aghuy"

"Speak properly."

gareth strained his voice.

"A guy"

"out the airlock"

His vision was fading.

"imsory"

Lackech looked down at him.

"I heard what you did for Gerald."

Lackech leaned down, and jammed the knife into the underside of Gareth, killing him as quickly as possible.
